• Preferences — the community pillars and activities you are interested in, your launch priority, pricing feedback, involvement preferences and any free-text "Other" answers.
• Technical data — limited device and usage data such as browser type and pages viewed, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. Why we collect it

• to record your registration and gauge community interest;
• to send your confirmation message and future updates about Sanctuary Life;
• to plan facilities, activities and pricing based on aggregated feedback;
• to maintain the security and integrity of our systems;
• to meet any legal obligations.

3. Consent and direct marketing

By submitting the registration form you consent to us collecting and using your information as described in this policy, including sending you community updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by contacting us.

4. Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the Site — such as our hosting, database and email delivery providers — under confidentiality obligations, or where disclosure is required or authorised by law. Any information shared with community partners is aggregated and de-identified.

Registrations are stored in a secure managed database with access restricted to authorised administrators through server-side controls. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

6. Retention

We keep your registration for as long as needed for the purposes described above, and then delete or de-identify it, unless we are required to retain it by law.

7. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. We will respond within a reasonable period. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to us first, and then to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

9. Children

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.
