1. Who we are

Sanctuary Life is a community initiative for residents of Sanctuary Lakes and the surrounding Wyndham area. Partner organisations listed on our site are shown for context only; their inclusion does not imply endorsement unless expressly stated.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to submit a registration. If you register on behalf of a household, you confirm you are authorised to provide the information you submit.

3. Your registration

• You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information.
• You agree not to submit registrations for people without their knowledge or consent.
• Registering expresses interest only. It is not a contract, purchase, membership, tenancy or guarantee of any place, service, pricing or facility.
• Any pricing indications shown are for research purposes and may change. Nothing on the Site is an offer capable of acceptance.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Services for any unlawful, misleading or fraudulent purpose;
• submit spam, bulk or automated registrations;
• attempt to access, probe or disrupt our systems, data or security controls;
• copy, scrape or reuse our content without our written permission.

5. Communications

When you register, we will send you a confirmation message and may contact you about Sanctuary Life initiatives, events and updates. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us. We will still send essential messages relating to a registration you have made.

6. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

7. Intellectual property

The Sanctuary Life name, logo, text, graphics and page design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trade mark laws. Third-party logos remain the property of their respective owners. You may not use any of these marks without permission.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services, or update these Terms, at any time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Services are provided "as is" and on an "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms and are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability can be limited, our liability is limited to resupplying the Services.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
